The Most Promising (TMP) is a free, rigorous, year-long creative writing program for Northeast Ohio teens and young adults designed to cultivate confidence and self-expression as well as increase literacy skills. In bi-weekly classes* starting in September 2025, students will explore different approaches to writing poetry and creative nonfiction, read and study work by select award-winning authors, learn about the publishing industry, and engage with current events and social issues through writing. Led by writer Ali Black, TMP seeks to build some of today’s most promising young writers.
